Erhardt + Leimer has unveiled a new tool for measuring and monitoring shrink sleeves. According to the company, the product shows an accurate display of the web width, and offers quality assurance with display and reporting functions.

In addition, the measuring system offers a real-time alarm/warning using a signal light tower or sound notification system. Width thresholds can be set on the touch screen for easy operator interface, and the system has ultrasonic edge sensors for simple calibration.
